Science-Based Pruning. Hurricane Preparedness. Peace of Mind.

HURRICANE SEASON IS HERE.

DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE WIND STARTS BLOWING.

Most tree failures during hurricanes are not random. They are often the result of poor structure, overextended limbs, codominant stems, improper pruning, or years of neglect. As an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist with the Prescription Pruning Qualification, I evaluate trees using the science of biomechanics to identify structural weaknesses before they become costly failures.

Structurally pruning is not “tree trimming.”

It is a deliberate, science-based approach that improves branch architecture, reduces end-weight loading, strengthens structural integrity, and helps trees better withstand hurricane-force winds. A properly structured tree is less likely to experience major limb failure, property damage, or catastrophic loss during severe weather.

At Stephen’s Tree Service, every recommendation is based on tree biology, biomechanics, and industry standards, not guesswork.

Schedule a consultation to learn:

• Which trees on your property present the highest risk
• How structural pruning can reduce failure potential
• Which defects should be corrected before storm season intensifies
• How to improve the long-term health, beauty, and safety of your trees

Your trees are one of the largest assets on your property.

Protect them before the next storm has a chance to test them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stephen is the most knowledgeable arborist I have ever met and spent a good deal of time explaining to us how the trees should structurally be managed, and that the lion tailing that most arborists are doing around here, and in the Bluffs, is shortening the life of the trees and making them more dangerous during storms. I very much appreciate his knowledge!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stephen Davis is a rare find in this industry. He truly listens to your needs and finds creative, practical solutions when green and gray infrastructure conflict, with a genuine commitment to preserving trees whenever possible. He is probably one of the only arborists locally with the depth of knowledge and hands-on skill to properly perform structural pruning rather than simply cutting trees back. In an industry that can often feel driven by generating more work for more money, Stephen genuinely cares about solving the problem the right way. His expertise, integrity, and ability to think outside the box truly set him apart.

Again Stephen Davis Trees to the rescue! I would not trust any other company with our trees! Unfortunately previous years of another company trimming our trees has left our community having to correct unsafe conditions and damage to tree soundness. Stephen was quick to respond and repair the damage. Thank you Stephen!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I called Stephen because I wanted structural pruning of some younger oaks, royal poinciana and others surrounding my driveway. He took the time to consider all the trees at play and I am confident they will grow out properly. He also gave some feedback on some larger tree maintenance and took care of that as well. I like the higher level thinking and skill brought to the work. Definitely someone passionate about trees.

Stephen is such a huge help. Offered and delivered on reviewing pics of my issue as opposed to coming over. He also seemed genuinely happy my palm tree was not in critical condition and could be vibrant once again with some treatment that he recommended. Will 100% be calling him for the next time I need an arborist.
